BOHATEROWIE DNIA CODZIENNEGO

Ostatnia fala emigracji polskiej do Argentyny składała się głównie z żołnierzy i oficerów Polskich Sił Zbrojnych i uczestników Powstania Warszawskiego z 1944 roku, którzy z powodu przejęcia władzy przez komunistów w Polsce nie chcieli wrócić do ojczyzny. Do Argentyny dotarło do końca lat 40. XX wieku prawie 15 000 Polaków.

Film opowiada o pierwszych latach ich emigracji w Argentynie.

SOL JANIK
Born in Warsaw in 1989. At the age of five, she emigrated to Argentina with her mother and twin brother. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires. She studied also an artistic photography, film editing, film photography. The fruit of her two-year journey around the countries of South America is a collection of artistic photographs, which she presented at exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Warsaw and Poznań. She works as a photographer, filmmaker, cinematographer and editor.

ELÍAS GISMONDI
(1987) Argentine filmmaker. Elías Gismondi made multiple short documentaries under the FRAMES label, among which stands out his documentary “Dancing with Vincent” awarded in Argentina. He served as cinematographer on fiction and documentary films. He collaborates as an audiovisual producer for the Embassy of Poland in Buenos Aires and is working on his latest documentary feature film “Bald Ones”, winner of the incubator award, INCAA (National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts).
