The last wave of Polish emigration to Argentina consisted mainly of soldiers and officers of the Polish Armed Forces and participants of the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, who, due to the takeover of power by the communists in Poland, did not want to return to their homeland. By the end of the 40s of the twentieth century, almost 15,000 Poles reached Argentina.
The film tells the story of the first years of their emigration in Argentina.
