The film tells the story of the Jewish Military Union. The film shows for the first time this formation, which, despite its modest size (about 400-450 people), was the largest combat force in the ghetto. It is only in recent years that publications on this subject have appeared. The Jewish Military Union maintained intensive relations with the Polish independence underground. The film uses film interviews with Union’s soldiers, such as: Ziuta Hartman, Dawid Landau, Józef Grynblatt and Fela Finkelsztein, available in world archives. Their testimonies are supplemented by the opinions of researchers from Polish, Israel and France.
