Joanna returns to her home village to attend her father’s funeral. On the same night a fight breaks out in the family – the woman decides to fulfill her father’s wish for a secular burial, to which her mother categorically refuses. In order to achieve her goal, Joanna starts to learn more about her dead father. Along with it she discovers shocking facts about her parents’ life.
Born in 1993 in Warsaw. Graduate of Directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice. He studied Polish philology and cultural studies at Warsaw University. He is a producer and author of an independent documentary „The Castle”. For years he has been running theater and film workshops for young people, he also works in advertising. In 2019 he served as director of Arterion film studio in Łódź. He is a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association.
