Fleeing from despair after the loss of loved ones, the protagonist hides in a safe land of memories, where time stands still and all his loved ones live. Over the years, the city develops in his imagination. One day, heroes and idols from childhood known from literature and cartoons, who in the consciousness of subsequent generations are eternally young, arrive uninvited. When our protagonist discovers that everyone has grown old and eternal youth does not exist, he decides to return to real life.
The film is an autobiographical impression, a reminiscence of images from childhood, in which the memory of the dead parents and the hometown of Łódź is revived.
