Seeking redemption, Patryk is trying to put his life together with Maja and become a father to her two year-old son Mati. In order to get money for the wedding, he decides to become an accomplice in a drug smuggling. Unexpectedly, Mati’s biological father returns to the country. He represents everything Patryk lacks: stability, security and affluence. Patryk’s dreams collide with ruthless reality.

MACIEJ MIESZCZYK
Senior student of film directing in the K. Kieslowski Film School at the Silesian University in Katowice. He resides in Warsaw but his second home is Norwegian archipelago Lofoty where he collaborates with the film school Nordland kunst-og filmogskole. He made a number of shorts including “Widower” (“Wdowiec”, 2016), “Mission” (“Misja”, 2016), “Duel” (“Pojedynek”, 2017), “Fatal Attraction” (“Fatalne zauroczenie, 2018).
