Konrad lives in a small mining town in southern Poland. An 18-year-old bodybuilder who wants to be an actor, he desperately fights for his absent father’s attention. In his attempts to get noticed, he admires his favorite action movie heroes, spends hours at the gym, and signs up for a bodybuilding competition. His inner conflict between who he is and who he thinks he should be, soon leads to depression. His life changes after he revisits his childhood passion for acting. Will he find his own path?
KLAUDIUSZ CHROSTOWSKI
Director, screenwriter, actor. Graduated from the University of the Arts London with a BA in Film and Video. After UAL he studied Film Directing in the Łódź Film School where he directed both fiction and documentary films. He worked as an assistant on feature films such as “Lasting” dir. J. Borcuch and a World War I series “The Passing Bells” dir. B. Maher. His music video for Daniel Bloom’s “Katarakta” got nominated for the Fryderyk Award in the Music Video Category.
