Zdzisław Misiak, znany jako „Dzidek”, jest emerytowanym królem lunaparków. Po śmierci córki zamieszkuje ze swoim 7-letnim wnukiem Hugo w jednym z pozostałych po biznesie baraków. W magicznym otoczeniu wesołego miasteczka rodzi się między nimi niezwykła więź, która pozwala im zaleczyć rany po stracie matki chłopca. Stan ten nie może jednak trwać zbyt długo. Wkrótce zaczyna się o nich upominać system, burząc spokój Dzidkolandu.
WOJCIECH KLIMALA
Director and screenwriter. Born in 1984 in Tychy. Graduated from the DOK PRO programme of the Wajda Film School. He earned his degree in directing from a Czech film school Filmová Akademie Miroslava Ondříčka v Písku in 2011. He is finishing directing studies at Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television of the University of Silesia. A member of the Polish Filmmaker Association since 2012. While studying he shot numerous short films and short documentaries that were screened at student film festivals. In 2014 he directed a short film “Entropy” that won awards worldwide. For the last two years, he has been associated with Warner Music Poland, where he works on music and promotional videos. Scholar in the program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage “Young Poland” for 2017 directing the documentary film “The Signs” produced by Kosmos Production.
