Aspiring to be a love guru, Olivia makes a YouTube tutorial, instructing about Turbo Love – a computer program supposed to give full control over your love life. She creates a virtual avatar of the perfect date couple and is very excited about the Control options the program offers. However, in this virtual world and the characters soon begin to live their own lives, and Olivia loses control over her work in both the virtual and the real world.
ALICJA JASINA
Animation director Alicja Jasina was born in 1990. She graduated with a BA from Kingston University, London and a MFA in Animation from University of Southern California. Her award-winning films have been screened at festivals worldwide, Her short “Once Upon a Line” was shortlisted for the Academy Awards in 2017. Striving to push the boundaries of what animation can be, her films are unique, conceptual, and humorous. She also works on commercial projects; her clients have included Disney, Airbnb, and Swiss Life.
