Rita is twenty-four years old and has never had an orgasm. All she remembers from her first sexual experience is disappointment and a kitschy painting of peonies hanging on the wall before an old sofa creaking beneath her. Since then, she has had bad associations with sex and flowers.

But the young woman is adamant about changing that before her 25^th birthday next month. The day is coming up, but orgasm is not.

POLINA BILIAIEVA
Born in 1997 in Kharkiv. In 2020, she began studying at the multi-national Directing Department of the Warsaw Film School. Graduate of directing from the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. Her graduation film, Sonata for Unaccompanied Violin, was awarded at the KINOKO festival in Kyiv. She has gained experience working on film sets in Ukraine and Poland (Sex, Insta, ZNO dir. by Antonio Lukich, Dad dir. by Anna Maliszewska). She’s most drawn to the stories of young women entering adulthood.
