KRZYSZTOF ZANUSSI
Born in 1939 in Warsaw. Director, producer, screenwriter and novelist much-awarded at international festivals in Cannes, Venice, Locarno, Moscow, Chicago, Montreal, Berlin and Tokyo, to name but a few. Director of plays staged in theatres all over the world. Recipient of honorary degrees from several prestigious academic bodies, Zanussi delivers lectures for students in many countries. In the years 1979–2019, director of Tor Film Studio. Producer of films directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski, Agnieszka Holland and many other outstanding artists. Professor of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
