In 1939 Janusz Klarner reaches the top of the Nanda Devi East peak in the Himalayas. Everything that happened later seems to be a consequence of this act. Like a terrible dream, the avalanche of events that followed return in the memories of hero. The broken taboo cannot be forgotten in a country that is reborn in the new communist order.
FRANCISZEK BERBEKA
Born in 1989 in Zakopane, Franciszek Berbeka is studying directing at the Polish Nation Film School in Łódź. The road that led him to study film directing began with a love for art and then philosophy, which he studied at the universities of Cracow and Warsaw. Besides the plot, the metaphysical element is important in the stories of his protagonists.
