This is a film about Mirek Lech, a visionary, inventor, extreme traveler, and a champion of renewable energy sources. This is the portrait of an unconventional protagonist, and it takes on an unconventional form: a parody of a documentary essay with elements of warm humor. From Pcim to Slovakia, from Slovakia to Greece, and from there straight to Africa, Lech, not so young anymore, wants to find a job in a solar power plant and also he wants to find a future wife. Solar energy and a warm narrative are two indispensable elements of this imaginative study of Mirek Lech.
ADAM ŻĄDŁO
Audiovisual artist and director of animated films, Adam Żądło was born in 1993. He was a PhD student at the Department of the Arts at the Pedagogical University in Cracow. He has a Master’s degree from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, specialization in animation and photography. He mixes experience from his work with science and with new technologies. He supports scientific student groups concerned with building cyborgs and space exploration. His artworks have been presented in the exhibitions and festivals around the world (SONY Photography Awards, ADOBE AAA finalist, Smithsonian photo competition winner, film premiere on Sitges IFF 2019, Cracow Film Festival 2019, New Horizons IFF 2019, Animator 2019).
