Every behavior, every decision we make matters. Awareness of the relationship between man and nature is deeper if you can live in the heart of nature, if you also have sufficient mindfulness, patience and empathy. In the world of Simona Kossak, who lives in the Białowieska primeval forest, nature is our home. We should show empathy and respect in our relationship with the world, other people, animals and nature. Colorful and uncompromising, ahead of her time, Simona was also an “ugly duckling” of the Kossak family of artists. We see the heroine of the movie through the eyes of Ida Matysek, whose ancestor was Simona. Ida comes to Białowieża from Finland to sort out the family heirlooms.
