Portrait of the Russian artistic gymnast Margarita Mamun. The film presents the critical year in which Margarita faces the unique opportunity of performing at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and of winning the Olympic gold medal. The unique access to the backstage of the daily training regime reveals the extraordinary bond between Margarita and two coaches Amina Zaripova and Irina Viner.

Director and screenwriter. Born in 1987 in Warsaw. Graduated from the Directing Department at the National Film School in Łódź and Documentary Programme at Wajda School. Her works include internationally awarded documentaries “Vakha and Magomed”, “Eighteenth Birthday” and “Talk to Me.” In cooperation with TELEMARK, she directed a docuseries “Teen Mom Poland” (2014) for MTV Poland. Awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding achievements in arts and received Wiesław Nowicki Prize for the most promising young filmmaker.
