“Our Little Poland” is a coming-of-age story that follows one year in the life of a group of Japanese students who enroll in the Polish Language and Culture Studies program at the University of Tokyo. One of the compulsory tasks for second-year students is to stage a play in Polish. In his documentary Matej Bobrik tells the story of their struggles, not only with the Polish language, but also of how their plans clash with reality.
