The borderland between Poland and Ukraine. Zoja comes to Poland to sell goods at a local market, together with her brother, but soon escapes from work in order to meet Iśka, a friend she has not seen for a long time. The teenage girl has just buried her father. The tension and closeness arising between the girls is misinterpreted by one of them.
ALEKSANDRA MACIEJCZYK
Born in 1993 in Łodź. She is a 5th year student of Łodź Film School, Film and Television Directing department. During studies she shoot many documentary and fiction short etudes and took part in film festivals in Poland and abroad. Her short documentary film “Nils” was awarded in International Documentary Film Festival in Świdnica. In 2015 she took part in a screenwriting workshop MIDPOINT, held in FAMU. Presently she is pre-producing her diploma film, writing a feature film script under Central European Feature Project and writing a children book adaptation under Films for Kids Pro workshop.
