Mid-twentieth century in the Polish People’s Republic. Adam lives with his mother who is being harassed by the Security Service officials. During WWII, Adam’s father was a pilot in the Battle of Britain, and then he went missing. Parcels and postcards arrive from him, but Adam – who has never seen him – suspects that they are being sent by someone else. When in school, Adam continuously dreams about his father landing his Spitfire on the dusty football field, sending up clouds of dust, and emerging alive, heroic, and magnificent.

LECH MAJEWSKI
Born in 1953 in Katowice. Film and theatre director, creator of Videoart, screenwriter, poet, novelist, and painter. Studied at the Academy of fine art in Cracow, also directing at the Polish National Film School in Łódź. He has had photography, painting, and sculpture exhibitions. His video art has been presented in many museums and galleries around the world. Member of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), Directors ‘ Guild of America (DGA) and European Film Academy (EFA). Awarded at numerous international festivals. Lecturer at many universities and colleges around the world.
