Brilliant documentary ANIA at the 34th Polish Film Festival in America
Saturday, November 5 – Sunday, November 20, 2022

34th edition of Polish Film Festival in America (PFFA), the world’s most extensive showcase of Polish film and the largest annual Polish cultural event outside of Poland, will take place from Saturday, November 5 to Sunday, November 20, 2022 in four prominent venues in the Chicagoland.

Among main attractions of the opening weekend will be a documentary feature ANIA, written and directed by Krystian Kuczkowski and Michal Bandurski.

An inspiring story about Anna Przybylska, a brave girl from Gdynia who loved life and dared to make her dreams come true. The documentary is built of interviews and never before seen footage from private archives portraying a woman who balanced her career and public appearances with family life. The movie also depicts a phenomenon of becoming a “star” of the actress without a significant number of important screen roles.
