Łukasz Kazek, on lands formerly belonging to the Nazi Germany, finds deposits hidden there by the inhabitants who had to leave their houses hurriedly. The Pole finds owners of lockers so that sentimental treasures – photos, documents and personal mementos – could be returned to them after seventy years.
Born in Chicago in 1991, but most of his life has spent in Poland. The journalist associated with TVN since 2010. Before he worked for Onet, the largest Polish-language internet portal. Student in the Institute of American and Polonian Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He prepares materials for the TVN24 (Polish news channel) and the main edition of ‘Fakty’ (Facts) – the flagship TVN news program. The author of short documentaries on social issues, historical and popular science subjects, including “The Nazi Hunter” (Lowca Nazistow, 2015).
