The fate of Mieczysław Kosz, a well-known and talented composer and jazz musician, died tragically in unresolved circumstances. The film traces the artist’s life path of from a village near Zamość, through the jazz clubs of Krakow, to Warsaw. We meet those who played important roles in his life and creativity. Friends of Kosz describe the social life in their milieu. Utilizing radio interviews with the artist and archival materials from the sixties, the film shows the social mood in the Polish People’s Republic villages and particularly in Antoniówka near Tomaszow Lubelski where the blind artist attended school.
