This documentary film shows the cruelty of war from the point of view of German pilots bombing Polish cities in 1939. Beginning with their bombardment of the town of Wieluń, the Luftwaffe bombed civilian targets and places significant to Polish culture. They bombed fleeing civilians and destroyed the entire cities. For many German pilots this was an amusement. Their attacks foreshadowed the horrors to come in the greatest conflict in the history of the world.
