The documentary film tells the story of an outstanding military commander, Stanisław Maczek, who took part in liberation of Western Europe during WWII. The film has been narrative since he studied at the University of Lvov. His participation in the defensive war of 1939 is discussed in more detail, then we show his further fate – the fight for France, the creation of the Polish 1st Armored Division in the British Isles, and then the participation of this Division in the liberation of France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Journalist and a film director, he graduated from the University of Warsaw. Publicist and author of documentaries. He has published in „Wprost” and „Newsweek.” Co-author of the film „From Poland with Love: For Great Britain.” He runs his own film studio Black Elephant.
