A film showing the struggle of Belli Galhos for the freedom of East Timor and the rights of women. It is a story full of suffering, but also love. Her life perfectly illustrates the problems that East Timor. In 1975, nine days after independence from Portugal, Timor-Leste was attacked by Indonesia. The brutal 24-year occupation completely destroyed the country, and every fourth citizen lost his life. The world looked away, while the Timorese people were brutally murdered, starved, and the Timorean women massively subjected of forced sterilization. Belli Galhos, who experienced all the suffering associated with the occupation as a teenager, fights for the freedom of her country. She is trying to make better life, especially to the least privileged ones, women and children.

Director, screenwriter, producer. A graduate of National Film School in Łódź. Works regularly with TVN. He participated in many expeditions to Asia and Africa. He organized and participated in the 1st Trekking Expedition of the Koszalin Polytechnic („Nepal ’97“), the 2nd Koszalin Polytechnic Expedition „Kilimandzaro ’98“ , a Łódź trekking expedition „Elbrus ‘99“ and the multimedia expedition “Aktivist Goes on the Top“. He has authored several documentary films for Discovery History.
